I am always amazed at the traits that get passed down from generation to generation. We have had two litters of Rainy kids - one sired by Q and one by Odie. We have Sirius & Snitch from the first litter sired by Q. They have two unique and cute personalities. Snitch is a big kid, he loves life, is always happy and loves water. If there is water on the trail he wants to run through it and if we stop he digs in it and lays in it and gets himself as wet as possible. If there is a mud puddle in the yard at home he has to dig in it and get himself covered. Sirius is more dignified than Snitch and takes things more seriously. His cute trait is whenever he is anxiously waiting for something such as - waiting on the truck before hookup, feeding time and during obedience class, he holds one paw high in the air.
From the second litter sired by Odie we have Harry & Powder. Well Harry is 'Snitch' and Powder is 'Sirius'. Harry is a water hound and thinks life is great and is always happy. Powder is the more serious of the two and also holds her foot in the air the exact same way Sirius does when we go out in the kennel. I wish I had pics of Powder doing this and Harry being a water dog, but I don't. I will try and get some though!
